A EVOLUÇÃO - Revista de Geistória e Pré-História é publicada pelo Centro Português de Geo-História e Pré-História e tem por objetivo principal contribuir para o desenvolvimento do conhecimento da Geistória e da Pré-história através da publicação de artigos e trabalhos de divulgação científica de investigadores nacionais ou estrangeiros, nas áreas da História Natural, da Paleontologia, da Geologia, da Pré-História ou da Arqueologia, podendo estes textos ser de âmbito nacional ou internacional. É uma publicação de âmbito internacional de informação especializada predominantemente científica, com periodicidade anual, escrita em português, impressa e disponível online.

The EVOLUÇÃO - Journal of Geohistory and Prehistory is published by the Portuguese Center for Geohistory and Prehistory and has as main objective to contribute to the development of the knowledge of Geohistory and Prehistory through the publication of articles and works of scientific dissemination by national or foreign researchers, in the areas of Natural History, Palaeontology, Geology, Prehistory or Archaeology. These articles may be national or international. It is an international publication of specialized information predominantly scientific, with annual periodicity, written in Portuguese, printed and available online.
